App opened fine when I first installed it a few weeks ago. A few days after that it would not open. So uninstalled reinstalled still no good. Now reinstalled the latest version app takes almost a minute to open then after another minute closes on its own. Just open up the site in your web browser and you won\'t have any issues. Update: Installed version 4.5.8 still takes almost a minute to open app and stories then closes on it\'s own after a minute however reopen from recents the app stays open.

Just a couple weeks ago, it stopped working on my Galaxy S10. And I am in the US. Edit: I open the app, and it shows the loading screen. It takes longer than it should. Then it opens for about a half a second, and I can see the latest headlines. Then it crashes. When I attempt to reopen it, it doesn\'t work.

Love CNET tech reviews but minus 1 star because I can\'t copy text in the app to save to my Evernote note files or other document programs. Only way I figured out how to copy and save full text, is by opening CNET in web browser for full articles, not just the link to article. Unfortunately ads are even more intrusive in browsers.

The App seems to be the Step brother of the Website - it is a visibly underfed product vs Website with features missing. I have recently installed the Cnet App. I have realised that features like Finance and Health are not available on the App. For these it seems I have to access the website. Please advise if the App will have these features soon or not. Or if I am doing something incorrectly. Thank you.

The CNET app is not intuitive. You are given lots of white space but no obvious \'return\', leaving one long line with zero chance of multiple lines for emphasis. The app is ok for reading but time wasted for posting. I chose no topics and get slammed with garbage. I tried to edit my profile to stop the unnecessary dings. A little help here, please? Okay, I banned notices and badges, a first for me, but the option should attached to the app. How do I get a new line? Uncheck all topics but 2? Trash

Very disappointed... Had an issue with receiving tons of emails and dealt with customer service to stop them. Loved this app, until today when I started browsing the articles and saw one for vibrators. Seriously guys? I downloaded this app to see news and tech articles, not sexually explicit product advertisements. Uninstalling.

I use to really enjoy this app. It was a great way to keep up on emerging tech which was important for me as a professional. Now cnet is thirsty for clicks. Everyday there are 4 headline articles about the stimulus checks regardless if there was new information or not. I come to cnet for Tech news why are you bombarding me with click bait? Even paring down my intrested as suggested I get recycled click bait stimulus articles. Its bad enough cnet is bought and paid for now the articles are ads.

App now crashes on launch repeatedly and is unusable . Tried clearing app data and cache - same issue. Tried removing and reinstalling app - same issue Steps To Replicate 1. Install app (or try use app that was already installed) 2. Launch app 3. Observe instant crash

Thought I had CNET app, but didn\'t. So, I know in the past and it\'s possible I used another email address. Anyway, CNETs is resourceful news, straight forward news spot for technology. The real easy, my cat could use it. Haha. Simple understanding, I need that. Don\'t have all my brain functions at times. And, it looks great. Brand resourceful people you are. Thanks, CNET, for being that stand out company! 👍👍👍👍👍

Notifications doesn\'t work properly. I have never been able to go directly to the article that pops up on the notification. I am forced to search for the article and end up reading other things and wasting way more time. The main reason why it feels frustrating is that it operates like Bait and switch. The other issue that I have faced with the app is the app\'s audio crept into Android Auto while I was driving. The app has great content, shame that the app is glitchy.
