Potentially the best app Google Play has seen. With a rating of 4.6/5 over 41000+ ratings it must be good. As a server admin I\'ve used Putty for years and lives in my system32 folder. I must say, this is fabulous going mobile. I\'m perfectionistic and one feature I\'m missing is being able to locate RSA keys in folders other than the Android 6.0 downloads folder. Please also provide me with assisstance linking Puttygen RSA keys as it tells me its erroneous. Keep up the good work. Thumbs up.

Very useful, works almost as described. Time since last use doesn\'t work properly, a very minor inconvenience. v1.9.6 requires the password field to be explicitly in focus and the keyboard to be explicitly opened in order to enter a password; that is a step backward. Chime-on-connect is quite annoying, and it sounds even if no connection is created; I find no way to disable it. Please fix these so I can rate five stars for what is otherwise a great app! Thank you!

I love you baby! It\'s just too good to be true. The most useful app in Google Play. Srsly I\'d marry it\'s author (but it\'s too late :P)

One amazing app. Its open source and a SSH client just has to be Open source. I have no idea how people use proprietry software for SSH, they can do whatever they want with your public keys. Highly recommended.

Does what you expect andfits my needs for a console ssh client. One annoyance on the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet is that editing a host is not usable; the original configuration screen doesn\'t show up and what does is utterly garbled. I ended up deleting my host configurations and recreating them.

Nice to use but has issues. It doesn\'t seem able to properly track when you connect, I have recently used hosts in my list that say \"never connected\" and such. Secondly, it doesn\'t seem to work with GNU Screen. Whenever I reattach an existing window, the app just dies. For this reason alone, I have to find something else.

Fast, lightweight, free -- this is the perfect SSH client on Android. I use it on my phone and tablet, and it\'s perfect. Works great with a physical keyboard, all the keys pass through (ESC, ALT, CTRL) and it\'s just perfect. Also has features that you\'d have to pay for in other SSH clients such as the ability to send commands after connecting.

What a difference an update makes... For awhile, ConnectBot had fallen behind.. No updates, dubious behavior with Bluetooth keyboards and some unusual ui quirks.. Well, I can\'t say it\'s now quirk free, but I can say that in terms of core features provided, it\'s definitely catching up to JuiceSSH. One particularly nifty feature present in ConnectBot that\'s a pay feature in JuiceSSH is port forwarding.. Very helpful when wanting to quickly check things behind a firewall... Now if only Android browsers made it easier to set custom proxies...

ConnectBot is great. It allows you to do remote connections with ssh or telnet or do a local connection to access your Android systems shell. Although I don\'t use it much anymore because Termux now exists, if for some reason you need to connect to your local device to access the Android commands, ConnectBot is still very useful. It\'s also on Fdroid, so you might want to get it there.

Simple app that does everything it promises. Even \"Ctrl\" functions, which some complained about, worked flawlessly. The post-login automation is really useful. And the best part is that it\'s a free app with no ads/in-app purchases. The only thing that could be added is support for landscape mode, for example when I want to view a database with multiple columns.
