IN THE NEWS

“A full-on RPG, complete with character progression, inventory management, and NPC interactions ... The character development and combat systems find that sweet spot between being too simplistic to matter and becoming a bloated distraction.” – Gamespace.com

“Untold RPG is a really solid and convenient package. It delivers feelings of grand adventure while allowing you to experiment and explore, and it does this pretty much all through text. It may not satisfy folks looking for a flashier, more action-packed experience, but Untold's restraint is exactly what makes it so impressive and refreshing.” – 148apps.com

Too many people have rated this game at a number under 5 stars for simple mistakes they are making as players. This is a beautifully written, illustrated, and orchestrated game. I consider myself obsessed with grammar, so much to the point that it makes games like this dreadful and unimmersive when they aren\'t well written. Untold RPG is not one of them. I played this game on car rides and between shifts at work. I\'d pay twice as much money for a second game. My hat goes off to Gotterdammerung.

Honestly, loved it, but feels way too short. The game itself is so nicely thought out, the interface is super easy to use without huge walls of text, the writing is gripping, and the world building obviously has a lot of heart and works really well. I very much recommend. However, the end feels rushed and I\'m a little disappointed. I think there is a LOT left unanswered and much more story left to be told for what you pay for. I sincerely hope for a sequel or more chapters, bc I had a blast.

This should be a bigger deal. I had no idea there were games like this. It\'s basically a well-written, highly interactive book mixed with an RPG (armor stats, looting, dialogue options ect.) You can even choose where you want to go at what point. And while the gameplay is a still shot of a vague painting of the area youre in it does a very good job of putting an image in your head with the text. Had no hesitation buying the full version after playing the demo 10/10

I\'m an avid text adventure fan, which means I\'ve played quite a lot of games like this. I\'ve seen many good ones, but also bad ones. This one is in my top 3 list of best text RPG games. The game is very smooth and well-polished, the mechanics are easy to understand and the gameplay itself is amazing. Whether you love exploring, fighting or finding lore, this game has it all. The story is rich with many routes to go through. I have replayed it multiple times and am still not bored. Need a sequel.

I RARELY rate games even for free items. This has no such promise and yet I am rating. The graphics are custom to the story. You know you\'re not getting some clipart. The music is quite good. Even immediately changing themes based on your choices It reminds me a little of Cryo Chamber/Atrium Carceri. If not familiar, check out YT. The story is quite good and well written. The flow seems to pull you forward rather than choice stagnation. Definitely check it out.
