Description of Epson Print Enabler

Epson Print Enabler lets you print from tablets and phones with Android version 5 or later. This Epson software enhances the built-in Android Printing system allowing you to print to a wide range of Epson inkjet and laser printers over Wi-Fi (see link for compatible printer list below). Once downloaded, you can easily print photos, emails, web pages and documents from the built-in menu of Apps that support Android Printing.

App collects and transmits user data - everything you print, via what network, what source, how many pages, etc. Most people are oblivious, but if you care, there it is. That\'s fine if it\'s honestly represented - but it is not. According to terms you can opt out using the app\'s settings menu. There is no such menu and no such option. App is unusable without accepting terms, and terms are explicitly misleading & disingenous at best, fraudulent at worst.

I found the instructions very poor. If you have an android or a newer phone you have to install the Epson iprint app first and then this app. The iprint app shows up in your apps while this print enabler does not. I downloaded enabler app several times and couldn\'t figure out why it wouldn\'t open. I then read reviews and realized you had to download the iprint app, (not in your instructions, they only mention print enabler). Better instruction would make this a higher rated app, for sure.

Don\'t bother installing this app. It has work sometimes but other times when you need it to work it just lets you down. Crashes, you cannot close cancel or otherwise the print job or the app. Is it that hard to keep to a standard? Come on epson it is not that difficult to just enable printing on a mobile device. Try iPrint you may get better results.

I use my Epson 3220-workforce pro for all it\'s worth. And now I can use it to print out my things off my phone. I make different things to get ahold of Tweakers, like flyers, advertisements for the experiment with my final accent and enjoy the rest of my life with my printer, copier, fax machine, and premium core processors.

Excellent! Allows my smartphones (I\'m using it on my 3rd one since I got the app). This is the interface between what happens in your phone it tablet, and what needs to be sent to the printer in a form it can understand. IMPORTANT: if you can\'t connect to the printer, it is likely the printer had a power failure and, when it came back on, was assigned a different IP address by the router. The fix for this is in the PRINTER manual: go into the PRINTER setup and set it to a STATIC IP address.

Doesn\'t even show up on phone! I thought I was really going crazy. I went to use it today, and right from the document I keep getting \"printer isn\'t available right now\", after the printer has been on for over ten minutes. So I go to find the app and can\'t find it anywhere on my phone. I downloaded it to my husband\'s phone and it isn\'t showing up anywhere, and upon installation from the play store, it doesn\'t even give you the option to \"open\" the app, just \"uninstall\". Updated garbage.

My experience with Epson is a positive one. I use a Samsung S10e with this app and do not have any problem sending info to this printer some thirty feet away from the back yard. I purchased an Epson \"All In One\" and this machine is quite impressive. I have been using this particular model four - six years now, however the ink cartridges run low fairly quickly otherwise I would have given a five star review. But I like all the features and thought that went into the development of this model.

Performed as expected with no issues when I needed to print some documents I recieved via email while visiting a friends. Downloaded the app and connected to their Epson printer with zero faffing about. Simple to use and straight forward. Thankyou very much.

After initial installation it works fine then will only print half the page and then stop printing. Please make it work properly. I have to uninstall and reinstall again to make it work. I have no trouble printing from laptop or copying anything. Just printing from mobile is a problem. My wife has same trouble. Not happy. .
