Whatever article I click on all i see is a message \"for subscribers only...\". I am new to this app and I have not found a single article which is open for everyone. So, how does it work? Are all articles subscribers only ones? If so, then this app is just a subscribers only app - and maybe also a free promotional channel for ft to attract new subscribers, and nothing else.

Although the app is generally pretty good, there is one significant problem I encounter: major battery drain and phone overheating while the app is open. A more minor problem is that navigation is slow and clunky, especially when compared with The Guardian app which is lightning fast. Also, it doesn\'t seem to be possible to open links outside the app.

For all those who wish they were better informed. A variety of approaches to economic & other problems: a much lighter read than you would think. The weekend edition is particularly good - I will always buy a copy.

Latest version (2.62.0) has fixed a lot of bugs that were crippling the app for some weeks (offline error, no access to comments, FastFT, or myFT). Readers now able to consume the excellent content properly again. There is also the addition of a great new audio feature that will read articles to you.

For me it is the best source of information professionally presented and always well written. This app is not glitchy and has never crashed. The quality of the articles is top class. The language is always spotless, nothing like other news providers who often use primitive phrases to catch readers attention. Well done FT and keep it up!

Fantastic service, easy to use app and some very informative articles. Definitely expensive but in my opinion it\'s more than worth it for this kind of quality. They\'re usually pretty unbiased, obviously they favored Joe in the election but I think if it had been a normal year with a sane president they would have been fair to both.

The Financial Times is an international financial news publication that also delves into other areas of technology, careers, personal finance, and culture. Like its website, the application for the FT is well laid out and is a good compliment to the FT\'s overall product. However, the FT\'s reporting leaves something to be desired.

I have a corporate subscription and the app won\'t allow me to access articles that unauthenticated users can read freely. That makes me ditch the app for the browser. Subscriptions should add something, not take away almost everything.

The best reading experience between all comparable and competing peer journals, period. So simple it works every time. Even the venerable NYT is second to the FT experience. Addendum... Since the last update the app had been flagged by my phones OS to be over-consuming power and \'dangerously draining your battery\'.

Tried to report a bug (twice) where the article text can\'t be unselected and the context menu follows you around, and the support people want to make stupid suggestions like uninstalling and reinstalling, or ask for my payment details (like it matters if I\'m paying). So maybe if I leave a one star review someone will bother to fix it rather than just closing my tickets. I\'m available to discuss it with any engineer that wants and will remove this review once it\'s fixed.
