Description of ReSound Smart 3D

The ReSound Smart 3D™ app is compatible with the following hearing aids:

• ReSound ONE™

• ReSound LiNX Quattro™

• ReSound LiNX 3D™

• ReSound ENZO 3D™

• ReSound ENZO Q™

• ReSound Key™

The ReSound Smart 3D app lets you control your hearing aids directly from your mobile device. You can change programs, and make simple or more advanced sound adjustments and save them as favorites. The app helps you learn what you can do and how to do it. It can even help you find your hearing aids if you lose them. Last, but not least, you can have your hearing care professional update your hearing aid programs and send you new hearing aid software without taking a trip to the clinic.

Use the ReSound Smart 3D app to:

• Connect your ReSound ONE hearing aids to compatible Android devices for direct audio streaming

• Enjoy optimization anywhere with ReSound Assist: Request help with your hearing aid settings from your hearing care professional and receive new settings and software updates.

And use these direct control and personalization options:

• Adjust volume settings on your hearing aids

• Mute your hearing aids

• Adjust volume of your optionally acquired ReSound streaming accessories

• Adjust speech focus as well as noise and wind-noise levels with Sound Enhancer (feature availability depends on your hearing aid model and the fitting by your hearing care professional)

• Change manual and streamer programs

• Edit and personalize program names

• Adjust treble, middle and bass tones to your preferences

• Save your preferred settings as a Favorite – you can even tag to a location

• Monitor the battery status of your rechargeable hearing aids

• Help locate lost or misplaced hearing aids

• Tinnitus manager: Adjust sound variation and frequency of the Tinnitus Sound Generator. Select Nature Sounds (feature availability depends on your hearing aid model and the fitting by your hearing care professional)

This might be good for Apple products but is not a stabel or compatible app for Android This app is buggy and after updating it will no longer control the hearing aids or will only pick up one of them. how can l reset back to last year\'s program that worked perfectly?? Resound and Google play need to put up the older version as well so after updating people can go back and have working hearing aids again. and disable the new app from uploading until it is fixed!!

There needs to be a way to force this app to consistently run in the back ground. As it stands I launch the app, wait for it to load, then wait for my aids to connect. Rinse and repeat, many times a day. This app has, so much potential but after all this time it\'s still not fully cooked.

I honestly don\'t understand all the negative reviews because it works perfectly for me! I\'ve used the app for over 2 years and it just keeps getting better. The best part for me, as a musician, is the amazingly extensive ability to customize settings and save them (the VA was even able to \"turn on\" additional settings for me to control). On top of that, using GPS it automatically switches to a saved setting whenever I\'m in a specific location. Now I have the TV streamer and love it. What\'s next?

I am still finding my way around the app only having had my Quattros for a few days. but, an very happy with the degree of control it gives me over my HAs. Only wish I could stream from my Android phone.

Very good application, only wish the Bluetooth streaming was already available for Android phones. It seems that most people not happy with the app expected more than what was advertised or didn\'t expect the differences between Apple and Android. When I can Bluetooth directly from my phone I\'ll five a five star review for sure!

Update-New year, same POS app.Slow to load. Often can\'t find aids. All adjustments need to be done manually and initiation is slow. If there was an alternative I\'d switch in a minute. Developer proposes a 5 step process for multiple users addressing these problems. Why not just admit the app is buggy, make a fix, and send on update? Update...developer (or Marketing?) claims app isn\"t buggy. When\'s the last time they tested this POS?

I have used ReSound Smart 3D since purchasing my ReSound GN hearing aids a year ago. Not a great app however it was useful for increasing volume or focusing on voices when needed. For the past week, I believe since an update, it will no longer connect to my hearing aids. Even tried restarting my phone and reinstalling the app to no avail. Useless

It is really disappointing that Resound does not have streaming for this app. I have been reading about how Resound is working with Android to release this for many months, but nothing has happened. Other manufacturers have managed to connect and use their phones, Google has released new apps for hearing aids,but. Not Resound even though with a big fanfare it announced Android comp ability when it released the new aids. As I am in the market for a new phone a don\'t know if I should buy Apple (which does have streaming) or an Android based phone. I was hoping to stay away from Apple but maybe have to go with them. Is there any news about how much longer this will take!

I don\'t understand why this application on samsung Galaxy didn\'t do anything for all this years so can be used without the phone clip+ the same way as with apple phones. It is still slow process as far as the updates to catching up with Apple. All the focus is to make it more prity and attractive to sell more phones and still ignoring the users with special needs as hearing aids. I hope that our voice it will be heard sooner than later.

Update:Your comment did not help at all. Program not recognizing hearing aid when in background and location not recognized. Still no way of backing up personalized settings.Update: Still not working decently. Old: Unbelivable. 6 months to correct minor things an it simply hangs after connecting with the hear aids. I I\'m seriously thinking to return your very expensive product and ask for indemnity.
