SoundHound makes it simple to discover music playing around you. It doesn’t matter if you’re at home, in your car, or anywhere else. Just open the app, hit the big orange button, and we’ll tell you exactly what song is playing!

All the songs and lyrics you discover will be kept in your own personal history, and you’ll have a Music Map to look up exactly where you heard that song you loved so much. You can also connect your Spotify account to build playlists, explore music across genres, and find new favorites—all with real-time lyrics.

Astonishingly accurate even under difficult conditions (far from sound source, noise, etc.) I\'ve tried it on music that I thought would be too obscure for it to recognize, but it has only been unable to correctly identify one of these \"test\" items. That\'s accuracy very close to 99%+. It\'s also a great source of information related to music and artists. A must-have app.

This is a great app for finding songs by name, artist or even humming a tune! It has a great search engine which stays up to date so you can search for the most recent songs or old ones too. You have a history button so you can go back and look at what you previously listened to or searched for. They even give you the option to look at the lyrics. I like the app it works great and easy to use.

It\'s a good app. Albeit, slow to start up, incase you\'re in a rush to catch the song before it ends. Also, it has issues reading older classic songs. Unless that song is very popular, whether or not it recognizes an finds it is a hit or miss. With that being said, it\'s a must have. Very Convenient tool to have for what it does.

It doesn\'t recognize a lot of songs, so I just end up taking a picture of the info on my radio to look up the song later, so it kind of defeats the purpose of the app... also, the internal player sucks... you\'re better off just looking up lyrics of the song and finding it on YouTube and then adding it to one of your playlists...

The first app I install on every new phone I get. It\'s quick to identify not only the correct track and artist, but often also the specific remix or edit, and then puts artist info, artwork, lyrics and links for streaming, download etc., at your fingertips. No matter where you are or what you\'re doing, if you hear something you want to hear again, SoundHound it and it\'s saved for you in your search history to come back to later.

I paid for the full version of this app about 10 years ago and I always thought it was pretty good and quick at picking up a song. However, it is now almost useless. Whatever the developer has done to it has simply not worked. It picks up hardly nothing and if it does, it takes forever. Shazam is now a million times better. Shame as I really like the interface once a song is found on SoundHound but it\'s just not worth even trying to use it when the success rate of finding a song is so low.

Been using this app for years. It\'s consistently reliable. Some of the more obscure it misses, but it\'s pretty fast loading, fairly quick on the search, allows favorites to be marked and played back later as well as forwarded to friends on a number applications for messaging. Best if all it\'s FREE with a minimum of intrusive ads. -1 star for not catching all the ones I toss at it, esp foreign/mid-east

the best app for identifying music and for keeping a list of the songs that you\'ve identified. it\'s free and works the best of any of the apps that I\'ve tried. the only downside is the same downside of any app like this: it can have trouble identifying songs in noisy environments or background music in TV shows and movies. works best with popular music. has a harder time with classical music or jazz.

Was much better in the past. Could not find \"Waiting for love\". After some time I remembered the name (obviously) and checked, if I did the melody wrong. Tried various parts with different styles of humming/singing, but no use. I remember this being a straightforward app in the past that could even find some more exotic anime songs. Also, the UX got worse. Why did I paid money on that app, when it\'s showing me big nasty ads during my search? Please find your way back to your roots!

Best thing I use on my Galaxy phone.. anytime i don\'t know a song but fall in love with the sound.. i turn to this app. It changes everything for me in an instant. Gives me the song title and Artist. Plus if I want to know the lyrics I can see those as well. Works great especially if you want to sing along or just feel every word of the individual song that speaks to your heart. I use it most to identify with my parents generation of music 🎶 alot of Motown. Plus any other style I need. 😁❤‼️👍
